When is the Turkish Food Festival?
The 19th Atlanta Turkish Food Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, October 17-18, 2026, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM both days. It was originally scheduled for October 10-11 and was postponed one week due to the expected storm and severe weather. The festival runs twice a year: the 18th was held May 9-10, 2026, and the 19th is the October 2026 edition.

Is there an admission fee?
No! Admission is completely free.
Is there parking available?
Yes, free parking is available at 192 Mayfield Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009. A free shuttle service runs between the parking lot and the festival venue.
Do I need to RSVP?
RSVP is not required but recommended so we can better plan for attendance and ensure the best experience for everyone.
Are there vegetarian options?
Yes! We offer several vegetarian options including Gozleme (spinach & cheese), Turkish Simit, and Turkish Coffee & Tea.
Is the event family-friendly?
Absolutely! The Turkish Food Festival is a family-friendly event with activities and food options for all ages.
How do I pay for food?
Food is purchased using tickets only — no cash is accepted at food booths. Visit the ticket booth on-site to buy tickets using cash or credit card, then exchange your tickets for food at any food booth.
Will there be entertainment?
Yes! Enjoy live Turkish music, traditional dance performances, and cultural exhibitions throughout both days.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the Istanbul Cultural Center is ADA accessible. Please contact us if you have specific accessibility needs.
What are the festival hours?
The festival is open 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on both days. The free shuttle from the parking lot runs during those hours, with the last shuttle leaving the venue at 7:15 PM.
How do I get to the parking lot and shuttle?
Park free at 192 Mayfield Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009 and look for the shuttle stop signs in the lot. A complimentary shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes between the lot and the festival at 591 N Main St. See the Parking & Directions page for maps.
What happens if it rains?
The festival is held outdoors on the Istanbul Cultural Center grounds. Event dates, hours, vendors, menu items and performers may change, and the event may be postponed or cancelled due to weather, safety, or other circumstances beyond our control. Any change will be posted here and on our social channels.
